Represent the club in competitive regional league play.
We proudly field a variety of teams in the Intercounty Tennis Association leagues. Intercounty play is a great fit for members who enjoy competitive tennis, team spirit, and representing the club throughout the region.
Intercounty is a great fit for members who enjoy competitive doubles, being part of a team, and representing Pine Point against other clubs. Players of varying experience levels participate each season, and many members value the social and community aspect as much as the competition itself.
Both returning and first-time Intercounty players are encouraged to participate.
We plan to have 5 teams this year:
These teams provide opportunities for a wide range of levels and age groups.
All Intercounty matches are played as doubles, with teams competing across multiple lines.
Mixed B and Mixed C teams play six doubles lines each week:
one women’s line, one men’s line, two mixed lines, and two open lines (open lines may be played by any gender pairing).
Mixed 55+ teams play three doubles lines each week:
one women’s line, one men’s line, and one mixed line.
Ladies B team plays four doubles lines each week, all women’s lines.
Matches are played using three courts at a time. For teams with more than three lines, matches are completed in multiple waves, with some lines starting after others finish.

Intercounty is a weekly team league that runs from May through September.
Matches are scheduled once per week on a consistent day and time for each team.
Not all players are expected to play every match. Lineups are managed by team captains and may vary by team.
Some captains rotate players evenly throughout the season, while others maintain a more regular lineup and use substitutes as needed.
Players who are unable to commit every week are encouraged to sign up as substitutes. Being a sub is a great way to participate in Intercounty tennis, support the team, and play when availability allows.
Each team is led by a captain who manages lineups, communicates schedules, and serves as the main point of contact for the team throughout the season. Members interested in captaining or co-captaining are encouraged to express interest.
