On the court, John has captained one of the 55+ teams in 2025 and a C team in 2023, and remains an active and dedicated part of the Pine Point community.

Club Secretary and House League Convenor
Joel describes himself as a reluctant jock who took up tennis in his 40s during the pandemic. He runs the house league program, which offers a welcoming way for new members to get involved and meet other players at a similar level. Off the courts, Joel is a public servant and a recovering math teacher, bringing organization and a good sense of humour to club life.

ICTA Rep
Bernadette serves as the link between Pine Point and the Intercounty Tennis Association, helping coordinate the club’s competitive teams and ensuring members have opportunities to represent the club in league play. A business owner who runs several childcare centres, she brings strong organizational skills, clear communication, and a people-first approach to everything she does. Bernadette enjoys helping the club stay connected within the broader tennis community.

This is his third season at Pine Point, and he’s excited to be joining the committee this year. With a background in analytics, Dmitry is looking forward to helping strengthen membership engagement and ensure members feel connected and informed.
